Grape Harvest Festival 2014: date, hotels and schedule

The Grape Harvest Festival is one of the largest national festivals, from all corners of Argentina and neighboring countries travel to Mendoza with the sole purpose of being in this festival.

The problem is that during the party there is a 100% hotel occupancy , that is to say that if you don’t book accommodation long enough in advance you may be left without a place to sleep.

The National Grape Harvest Festival in its 2014 edition will be held from March 2 to 11 , the schedule is already defined and there are more than a thousand confirmed artists.

Where does it take place?

	As every year, the epicenter of the party is the <strong>Frank Romero Day Greek Theater</strong> , an open-air theater with a spectacular view of Cerro “La Gloria” on one side, and the pre-mountain range of the Andes on the other.</p>

	During the festival the whole city has activities, but the main ones are these:</p>
<ul>

		 <strong>March 1:</strong> Young Grape Harvest in the Julio Le Parc Cultural Space, Guaymallén.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 2:</strong> Blessing of the Fruits in Prado Gaucho.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 3rd:</strong> Dance of the Queens at Le Parc.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 4:</strong> Harvest at the Arena, Wine and Gourmet at the Arena Maipú Hotel.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 5:</strong> Harvest Party at local airport.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 7:</strong> White Way of the Queens.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 8:</strong> Carrousel (it will not be done exclusively in San Martín Park as said).</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 8:</strong> Central Act of the National Grape Harvest Festival.</li>
<li>
		 <strong>March 9, 10 and 11:</strong> repetitions of the National Grape Harvest Festival.</li>

	The tickets for the central event in a sector very crowded by tourists is about $170, they are not numbered tickets so you should arrive early.</p>
